China Customs Authorities implement the Order No. 56 effective as of June 1, 2018.
This order commands air and maritime exporters of goods to China to add complementary information on the manifest until then not mandatory, such as:
- Complete contact information of the shipper and consignee (detailed address, phone number, e-mail, etc.)
- USCI of the consignee (China Uniformed Social Credit Index)
- Specific name and description of the product
The accurate and complete manifest data must be submitted to China Customs Authorities 24 hours prior to cargo loading at the port of loading.
Without these now required details, the goods may find themselves blocked on the port of unloading.
This information is now required for all your shipments.
