WS LOGISTICS SUPPORTS THE CHARITABLE OPERATION « BORDEAUX WINES SAY THANK YOU »

 

On July 9th, the University Hospital Centre of Bordeaux and the Libourne Hospital received a 69 500€ check from the CIVB (Bordeaux Wine Council). The money was raised as part of the “Bordeaux Wines Say Thank You” operation with the aim to thank caregivers for their dedication in the face of COVID-19.

The Bordeaux Wine industry succeeded in collecting more than 600 lots of wines and of oenotouristic activities which were part of the auction that took place from June 15th to June 21st – the 12th edition of the Bordeaux Wine Festival was to be held on these dates but has been postponed to 2021. WS Logistics supported the charitable operation by mobilising 3 persons from their team to receive and store more than 400 lots of wines. Since June 29th, WS Logistics has also been in charge of delivering the lots as well as making them available for the purchasers.
